The S2 LAC Science Presentation Competition, a collaboration between English Language and Integrated Science, was successfully held in the Theatre Hall on selected science topics including light pollution, amazing aurora, the physics of Beyblade, the magic of magnetic force as well as effects of smoking.
Presenters from the five English groups were competing for the five awards: Best Content Award, Best Teamwork Award, Outstanding Fluency Award, Most Creative Award and Overall Championship.
Through this activity, students' confidence in English speaking was significantly boosted and their knowledge and interest in scientific topics and concepts were enhanced.
